Manu Ginóbili spoke about Donald Trump and what the roster thinks about him

Q: Does Trump scare you a little bit?

"Yeah, definitely. Surprising what's going on here. I came back from the Olympic Games and the primaries were going on and everybody was saying he was doing great but had no chance, that the lack experience was going to bring him down, but he kept going. I'm surprised, but it's what we have."

    Q: Does somebody support him?

"No, openly they don't. Around here is common to finance campaigns and nobody is doing that."

During the interview in Radio Del Plata with Marcelo Zlotogwiazda, Manu Ginobili talked about the upcoming elections in the US. The bahiense, who was part of the San Antonio win against the Golden State Warriors last night talked about politics, but then went back to basketball:

"It was an amazing game. I never thought we would win by 30 points here. We scored a lot early. We had a few guys that played an extraordinary game. I felt good. The first game always gets the best from you, because you want to play again, feel you're competing in an official game again. That helps."

Another guy that spoke after the win was Nicolás Laprovittola, who played his first game in the NBA. "I still don't realize what this is all about, what it generates. I have to take it slow and do my work as best as possible. It was a risky bet, it evolved over the summer and when I had the chance, I didn't doubt for a second. I focused a lot to have this chance, and I think I earned it".

About his teammate, Manu added: "We talked, we thought he would play his first game on a loss. But fortunately it happened this way. It's good that he could play some minutes, get that anxiety of the first game out of the way. I told him, principally, things about our opponents. A few secrets that can help you not look like a fool out there".

So they interview sports figures after a game, and the first questions are about politics?

On the basketball front, Manu didn't think the Spurs would beat Golden State by 30 on the road. Some Spurs players had extraordinary games. And he and Lap talked, and assumed the first game would be a loss.

I always appreciate you translating and posting articles, Nono. Nothing personal. I'm just so tired of getting politics mixed in with my sports.

Frankly, the interviewer is a political analyst, so I assume that's why there were some political questions. I decided to post it because there was some basketball stuff too, and I thought it would be cheap if I didn't include the whole thing.

Respect for that. Makes me wish I hadn't even mentioned it. Again, thanks for taking the time to translate and post those articles. We've gotten a lot of Spurs info over the years from you doing that.

We voted for Mauricio Macri who is doing exactly the opposite of what he promised.
I think Argentineans should not be lecturing anyone.

A sexist son of a millionaire who objectifies women and spent the last 30 years of his life ing models and living from business with the state, that´s a line that fits both Macri and Trump.

Just my 2 cents in here.

Let the republicans and every american be.

    I didn't vote for that son a , tbh.

Anyway, Macri is Ghandi compared to Trump. Mauricio at least tries to be diplomatic, lies and keeps his re ed opinions to himself like every sane politician. Trump is like a cartoon character.

At the same time Cristina and Hillary are two old vags that gives a about women´s and children´s rights but they use them as a shield at convenience like they own the brand, at the end of the day Bill Clinton and Obama had 8 years each and women are still underpaid, Kirchners are 26 years in a row in Santa Cruz and it´s still a ty state, they had 12 years and a half at full control and left a country full of debts, unsecurity inflation and puke inducing corruption.

Also Cristina and Vagillary increased their fortune illegally with no way to explain that to justice (they are millionaires too so how the are so different from Trump?), and both did the same thing with the media having 90% of the package saying how wonderful they are and how ty is the other party/opponent.

    Those are my 2 cents.

I am not going to defend Hillary, and while what i said about Macri is a fact, as it is, and doesn´t need to be proved in a court of justice, what you said she allegedly did NEEDS to be proved but has not been proved yet.

Hillary´s dirty laundry has been already proved and she wants to say nothing about that, 33000 deleted emails, kicking Sanders out of the primary, getting rich using charity with no other way around to justify their money income, the FBI did not register her home so they were obstructing justice to help Vagi, people in her campaign inciting violence against Trump supporters, Benghazi and other things like paying a cheap done Porn Star to accuse Trump of sexual assault... and she lives a fake marriage with a rapist.

That Vagi is a person that wants power no matter what and Im very surprised that USA is in this position where media which is the fountain of information is picking sides in this election, that doesnt speak well of how they give people credible info...twisting it to suit their needs.

Re read, i was not talking about Hillary.
Anyway i see no point in discussing about USA political situation as i will not participate.
I think you must vote as you feel, no candidate is ideal, they normally arent, so you should just vote what represents you the best.
As said i hold nothing against USA Democratic system as it is Historically proven that you have had the best management over the last century of all american countrys.
I can only hope Argentina had as good politicians as USA had. We weren´t as lucky.
