No. Knowing the Chargers, we will give them their only win.
They're tanking for sure, but they'll try their best to win at least one game. Nobody wants to join the 2008 Lions and finish 0-16. To pile on even more....they lost all 4 preseason games this year.
Will they do it?
Remaining schedule:
Week 10: @ Ravens
Week 11: vs Steelers
Week 12: vs Giants
Week 13: BYE
Week 14: vs Bengals
Week 15: @ Bills
Week 16: vs Chargers
Week 17: @ Steelers
I say they win once. Money is on either the Giants at home or the Chargers at home.
Somebody will choke to them....
How dare you talk about your 1963 AFL Championship Chargers like that........smh.
Considering they're incapable of lining up on defense at this point? Probably. Though never count out the Chargers from finding a way to lose to the Browns.
They should move again. Worked for the Ravens.
I could see them winning this Thursday, tbh..
Ravens are the type of team that would get a big division W vs. Pittsburgh and then follow it up with an embarrassing L the following game..
Yeah, they also have offense that is incapable of scoring more than 22 pts. Some lucky hail marys can make the deal for Browns.
Also they just had their letdown game
i hope they get 3 wins so the jags gets the 1st pick
they have not been as bad as their record suggest tbh..
I think they've got a great shot to go 0-16. The closer they get to going winless for the season the tougher it's going to be to win. They're probably going to get everyone's best effort because no one wants to be the team that loses to them.
The last time the Browns won a road game it was in Baltimore. They are 1-15 in their last 16 road games. And that win vs the Ravens came off a Ravens win over the Steelers.
However....
With Harbaugh at the helm the Ravens are 14-2 vs the Browns and at no time did they meet a Browns team this bad.
Will there come a game where the football Gods just step in and zap a Browns opponet? That is possible but other than that this Thursday might be their best chance for a win. The Ravens in a big Steeler game unable to get up for a team that probably sees this game as their ONE big chance to do something, anything this season.
The Browns are 3-30 in their last 33, that's pretty bad.
Bringing in RGIII pretty much says it all as to why this franchise is in the shape they are.
It took an absolute gift penalty on a shanked field goal for us to barely beat the Browns last year. In our previous matchup with the Browns back in 2012, we managed to lose an atrocious 7-6 game. Easily the worst NFL game I've ever sat through.
So yes, we definitely have a chance. I could easily see ano making Cody Kessler and Terrelle Pryor look like Bernie Kosar and Gary Collins in their primes.
I can't help but get a 2007 Ravens/Dolphins vibe from this game. The Browns are the Dolphins - a seemingly hopeless team that everyone thought was a lock for 0-16. The Chargers are the Ravens - a bad-but-not-terrible team with a veteran QB, plenty of talent on defense, and an embattled coaching staff that can play up or down to anyone.

Forget the fact Kosar never played with Collins, just to mention Gary Collins, wow~~~
Just think from 1946-1951 the Browns went 68-7, wow~~~

The Drowns actually were good in 2014 through most of the season...
They won 7 games and in 3 of those wins they won by less than 3 points.
They were good back in 2007, 10=6.
but they started 7-4 which is about an 80% chance to make the playoffs. Johnny Football was ballin'. But Hoyer stinks.
The 9ers are worse IMO..
The Browns have actually had the 2nd most difficult schedule in the NFL, this season..pretty bad draw..
They were 5 points away from being 4-7, then their luck ran out.
they stupidly played hoyer instead of johnny.
I just hope the Browns draft a QB next year.
Sitting atop the draft with a glaring need @ QB you'd figure they'd draft one but noooooope.
They'll trade down, pile up a bunch of mid-round picks and use their first pick on a center. You watch.
