They served their purpose. They were a good attack dog on Trump. They made some great ads.

Everything they did (which I’m still not convinced was a lot in terms of flipping voters) could have been done for like 1/3 of the money the raised. They paid themselves huge overhead and funneled the money they raised to related party consultants.

Schmidt is apparently planning to run for the senate against Mike Lee in Utah. Guess he’s leaving the Lincoln Project so he can replicate the Amy McGrath grift. My guess on how this goes:
1) We’ll see a few bull internal polls a year from now that show Schmidt beating Mike Lee
2) CNN/MSNBC will feverishly masturbate to how Steve Schmidt makes it a winnable race for the Dems
3) Schmidt will raise $65 million and funnel $45 million of it to related party consulting firms
4) lose to Mike Lee by 20
