Often time, PSN goes down and I cant access the app through it.

What a weird use case. You want offline viewing where you have your strongest opportunity for connection. (Wired or wifi in your home)

If PSN goes down (which is weird in and of itself since all you should need is an internet connection) then just being it up on your mobile device and cast to your tv.
