Spurs win by 5.
Early thread..
At home against the worst team in the league (Mavs are 2-10 and likely without Dirk/Deron/Harris/Barea); if we don't blow out these bunch of warm scrub bodies Dallas has been trotting out, after 2 days of rest, then there is something truly wrong with this team..
A fifth consecutive lackadaisical home outing, and I'm going to question their heart and focus, tbh..There is no "It is only November" BS excuse here.
rip dirk.
was really hoping he wasn't going to end up resigning with them.
ask for a trade...
Way too early. This game is on sunday..no?
no, tmr..I saw a couple of tweets on the awfulness of the Mavs so i decided to open the thread..anything less than a 15-pt win, just blow up this in' team, tbh..
A win is a win. Stop being so spoiled, we are fans of the greatest organization in sports. Who cares if they win by 10 instead of 30. Barring injuries the team will be rolling come playoff time, tbh.
No riga time
No "Brought to you by..."
Spurs are getting an L
As far as the Mavs game is concerned, the margin of victory will likely disappoint a lot of the "point differential" crowd. I look for Pop to give as many of the young guys as much time as he can and do a lot of mad scientist stuff.
I don't share your optimism about the playoffs, but I am a fan, so I am hopeful.
This "Riga time" has become such a corny thing, tbh ..why simply not include GMT for Spurs' international fans and everyone adjust to his local time?
The only reason CDT is mentioned in thread le here is to avoid having dabom coming in and bullying OPs left and right ..
My nigs spursistan.
This is going to be another boring game though. The mavs are and Spurs will try to cruise through things...they will have one ty quarter a d forced the starters to play majority of the 4th...but you know dallas has zero chance.
So has the "tbh" thing but it's spurstalk tradition and it can't be messed with..
I'm just skeptical, I know that kind of magic exists. Just look at amused and his game threads
As long as Barea is out then it should be a comfortable blowout. IIRC, Spurs destroyed the Mavs last season & even beat them w/o any of the starters.
No Dirk. He's got to be breaking down. All the others, KG, Duncan, Pierce, Kobe, etc fizzled out.
I'm in town from DFW and looking to take my son to his first ever game. Where should I look for tickets?
FsSW transmits all their local games. I just sneaked a peek into a game they had against Memphis a couple of days back and they had scored 35 or something points by the middle of the 3rd Q!!! A dleague game would have been more interesting... kind of sad really.
I do expect Pop to give playing time to every one after a sizeable lead. Hopefully they do a better job of protecting such leads than they did against the Kings.... but these Mavs are much worse. I look forward to watching thence rookies. I think it's just the kind of subpar compe ion that will allow one or two to have a,break out game hopefully.... It should be fun from that standpoint, but I doubt I am able to watch it, we'll see. Traveling for the holidays and I have a lot to do tomorrow and Tuesday b4 a trip. Cheers!
no amused ... so I take it
No team is an easy win for these Spurs. They are lacking swagger badly but it's only November.
Ostensibly, he's rehabbing from the Achilles injury. In reality, though, he's on paternity leave. I think both he and Cuban are content to take it easy for this season.
Any Spur killer over there?
JJ Barea or anyone?
