Chargers profit per year in San Diego: $344 million per Forbes.
Spanos "I want more."
I hope they absolutely dumpster fire in L.A. Word is there is zero excitement for either
a) LA people going to games
b) Now ex San Charger fans driving up to L.A.
NFL fans

Apparently they plan to completely rebrand the team in LA. New name and everything. Good move tbh, let San Diego at least keep the Chargers as their own even if the team is gone.
One of the logical conclusions i have heard is that the Scammos family plan is to sell the team X years from now when the valuation of team (in LA vs San Diego) is greater. Thus they have next to zero interest in filling seats in LA nor winning.
I'm surprised the owners would be for this. The go to move to extort taxpayers into building you a stadium is threatening to go to LA.
Nope.
LA Chargers. Already on their official site and they already have a new logo. Basically exactly like the LA Dodger logo with a lighting bolt on the bottom.
There are a TON of HS's in the LA area that play football on a Friday night. There are probably 30 JC's, LA State, UCSB, Long Beach State, USC, UCLA, playing on Saturdays. Then we have the NFL Rams.
Hmmmm?

Toxic owners.
I live in central Cali, I've never seen a Charger fan. Talking the bumper sticker, ball cap, gear. Lot's of Raiders, Niners, and Cowboys fans.
Look at a map of Cali, SOCAL is a small area if compared to state size. Most the state couldn't care less about the Chargers.
Now the Fresno Chargers, that would work. Tons of NFL fans from Modesto to Bakersfield. Tons of towns in this region of Cali. Any NFL franchise would work.

Twitter already trolling the new logo
http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/gallery...-shreds-011217
So basically the Dodgers logo with a sperm tail
Did Earvin Johnson design the logo?
Here's what happens: They come to L.A. and the Raiders move to Vegas. Then in a few years of toiling in L.A. and they move to Oaktown.
I don't think NFL rules will allow for a rebrand right away. They'll probably have to operate as the Chargers for a year or two before they can change, like Tennessee did with the Oilers.
There was an article of fans who would traverse from Tijuana to watch Chargers' games. Now, they won't have that ability.
Because of the wall tbh
How could anyone from TJ afford Charger tickets?
I;m sure it's different now....
The first thing you'd see entering Mexico was cardboard houses, and the smell of chicken . What happened when it rained? Then here come the taxi drivers.
We always went over in a gang, and stayed in that gang. Very dangerous place to be even back then.
