It would take about three hours to drive from San Diego to LA. Could probably be done in two if a bet. I am taking into consideration game day traffic, terrible traffic. So we are talking around 6-7 hours on the road fighting that LA traffic.
While some might give it a shot a couple times, I see it too big a hassle to make it something they really need to do. That LA traffic has to be experienced to be believed.
Buses? Flying?
Now that is a jersey i just might buy.
If the team isn't selling tickets nor has a future in the immediate future, just being in the market, that they split mind you, isn't going to double or triple the valuation. Throw in the re-branding and that sounds like a stupid plan. You don't put your used car up for sale without a detail job, you don't put your home on the market voluntarily with it being a dilapidated hole. You don't bomb a franchise and think moving to a large market that is not conducive to football throughout its history and think everything is coming up Milhouse that easily.
Sounds crazy but it is true.
The value of the team will go up. Just by being in LA.
Using your example, take a hole house in Hickville, USA. Transfer that exact same house to LA. It just went up in value.
I don't have the article in front of me but the value of the team is going to go up a lot in LA, regardless of the Scammos suckage. I continue to agree with the thought that they are looking at selling it some years from now and making a boatload.
Sterling Clippers purchased by Microsoft Re type of sales price.
lol... Chargers fans dropping gear off in front of the Chargers team office in SD. NFL network interviewing Angry White Man butthurt over their team leaving after "55 years in the making"
It would be for the best.
The rest of the owners will have to bail them out of this mess. Least ClipperNation can save on gas money.

Does the NFL still want to go international? After the Chargers fail in LA they should be moved out of America.
This.......
He ain't wrong tbh.
80% of the crowd will probably be fans of the out of town opponent living in SoCal.
10% LA Charger plants by Scammos.
5% new phans from LA area
5% re s and others from San Diego who for whatever reason still want to follow the team.
