He looks super skinny. Wonder if the team was on his ass everyday...most likely.

OMG, he morphed into a caterpillar?

It's been great to workout these 2 days in #NY at #NBPA facility! My hand is feeling better and stronger everyday! #GoSpursGo
Time to admit that offense has cratered without him..
Yeah because Tony and Manu are old guards that don't score or penetrate.
Gasol is going to fix nothing with this team. In fact he might make things worse since the Spurs have actually looked fairly competent on defense without him. The big issue right now with the Spurs is finding consistent offense outside the frontcourt.

I've had an amazing break with the person I love Can't wait to be back in action this friday! #GoSpursGo
+1 But this is how the team was built so they miss him...
For your sake, please, Pau...Do NOT, under ANY cir stances turn your back on her in TP's presence!
You can question Pau's defense...but you can't question his at ude. Seems very enthusiastic and focused.
Hopefully he comes back from that injury without it bothering him too much. He can definitely make the Spurs a stronger team if he is playing well, and I feel like he is one of those guys that can still bring it when the big games come.
Was Pau married when one of his Lakers teammates cheated with his girl?
That's what I am holding onto. That he cranks it up when the games really start to matter.
Pau knows how to step it up to the next level come playoff time. Not too worried.
Glad also he got rest. These old folks need to take time off in the regular season.
That's actually a good point. Pau's playability is going to come down to the level of energy he brings, especially defensively. The Spurs have 30-54 games left in their season, so hopefully, he is fresh enough to be effective that whole stretch.
The toe nail polish makes that man's feet look pretty feminine.
Kafka type stuff.
Dont throw fruit at him.
Will return tomorrow against the Clippers
I wonder if Kiwi will be active as well
I know it's the cool thing to hate on him but he was huge today. Spurs easily lose w/o him
I don't hate him at all and I also agree. He spurred the turnaround in the third quarter. We missed him.
it's pretty amazing having Gasol on our team.. legit professional
Having watched them both for many years, I have way more confidence in Gasol in crunch time than Aldridge. Gasol isn't afraid to be under pressure.
If Dedmon stays a starter, our main bench bigs may be a little old, but Lee and Gasol are both former all-star's, champs, and in Pau's case a future HOFer. They both pass the ball so well, we could have a mini-beautiful game on the bench. Pau's pass to Gino at 1:50 was a thing of beauty (as was Manu's shot. )
That said, I think Pau's spacing really benefits LMA. Time will tell

I think Gasol has a rapport with Ginobili that could help bring him off the bench. I still like him starting but that may be the solution.
