What's cool is to hear a band like Led Zeppelin doing Levee Breaks and only you know it's a cover and ya own the original.
Who knows this is a cover?
The original "Outside Woman Blues"
Blind Joe/Willie Reynolds wasn't from the Mississippi Delta, he was from Louisiana. And that is a picture of the great Son House.
And, without....
Robert Johnson
Charley Patton
Tommy Johnson
Ishman Bracey
Bo Carter
....that is hardly....The Great Delta Singers.

avante thought Bob Marley's version was the cover
I was at a party and Marley's I Shot The Sheriff came on and this jackass next to me says, "Who's ruining this song?!" I turn and look him dead in the eyes with disgust on my face and I say, "The dude who wrote it."
was that you avante?
Dude, I made the mistake of ASSUMING everyone here gets my music knowledge. No way in a guy who can talk Bob Marley long before he became famous and Eric Clapton back in his John Mayall days doesn't know who wrote that tune. That's why I said....WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT? I was OBVIOUSLY (so I assumed) talking about a Brit guitar player covering a Marley tune. Only a fool wouldn't get that.
I could teach the history of recorded music at any school there is, and that should be real obvious.
It is funny however, it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO important that I make a mistake, hahahaha~~~ I don't make mistakes when it comes to music, trust me.
You do get....the dude who wrote it....makes no sense, right? TONS of covers far better than....the dude who wrote it.
I once listed a list of speedy NCAA running backs who ran a sub 9.5/10.30......
Hercshel Walker
Michael Bennett
Jamaal Charles
Curtis ey
Bob Hayes
Trenton Jackson
ets etc etc
Guy comes on....hey stupid Bob Hayes was a wide receiver.
Hahahahahahaha~~~~ Hayes was a RB at Florida A&M, the Cowboys made a receiver out of him.
This is like that. I do think evreryone gets my expertise there and no need to explain things.

Texas Alexander
Coley Jones
Black Ivory King
Funny Paper Smith
Little Hat Jones
Black Ace
Bessie Tucker
Ramblin' Thomas
Black Boy Shine
Whistling Alex Moore
Willie Reed
Henry Thomas
Victoria Spivey
Bobbie Cadillac
That's where I'm at when it comes to music, yep, on a whole other level than you little s.
Does it it really matter if all those people suck tbh
You couldn't find any room in all that for Pee Pee the Kidnapper?
Educate yourself son, obviously ya are clueless.
BINGO~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Right there says it all. Dude, all those on that list are TEXAS players, ok? Peanut the Kidnapper wasn't from Texas.
See that's why I mean, YOU/OTHERS, had no idea all those guys were Texas blues cats.
You'd need....
Blind Lemon Jefferson
Blind Willie Johnson
As far as Essential prewar Texas blues goes.
The totally obscure....
Bo Jones

Lonnie Johnson
Little Walter
Lucinda Williams
Buddy Guy
Louis Armstrong
Aaron Neville
Professor Longhair
