If a ins ution like that is going to receive public funding it should guarantee freedom of speech especially for individuals who have been invited to speak there. If they cannot do that, if they cannot provide protection for people and the police cannot respond in situations like that then they should have their funding removed. Perhaps the threat of having their funding removed would push some of these places to taking action to protect freedom of speech. Imagine a black person wanted to speak and a bunch of white neo-nazis have a protest like that. How would you feel? How do you think the federal government should act? What if the police did nothing about it?

No, because there is no % for that university to deal with her. They lose nothing by leaving her undisturbed. She doesn't sue them. The student body doesn't get all riled up and leave the school. (((Attrition))) is the greatest concept, the finest tool one can employ be it "Trump", or this school of higher learning. The "Nixons" of the world never understood that concept. But, "his" failure to grasp the protocol of (Attrition) was not lost on the generations (Bill Clinton for instance) to come.

Scorned by critics on both the left and right and hunted by police, the black bloc is bringing its radical tactics to the massive protest movement sparked by the presidency of Donald Trump.
The masked militants went fist to fist with neo-Nazis at the state Capitol in June, where five of their allies were stabbed. Black bloc tactics also dogged Trump’s inaugural ceremonies in Washington, leaving broken windows, vandalized banks and a torched limo.
And early this month on the UC Berkeley campus, black bloc militants tore down police barricades, broke windows, started a fire and assaulted Trump supporters.
They represented a small percentage of the 1,000 mostly nonviolent demonstrators who went to Berkeley to protest a speech by controversial Breitbart columnist and conservative writer Milo Yiannopoulos, but they dominated the outcome.
