That would suck, but losing your job to a true freshman with the talent coming in means just that. Unless he doesn’t give a and wants to be at Texas because his girlfriend is insanely good looking.
He hasn’t lost anything yet, as of right now he will compete all year and then take that into spring. If he left he would have to redshirt and then spend two more years in another program. There is no guarantee then that he would not be in the same situation there. Unless of course he transferred to UTSA or Texas State.
If he does transfer he should go out west where they would be able to take advantage of his accurate arm, Maybe the pirate can use him.
