I’m thinking Ehlinger is going to make it very difficult for Texas to keep all their QB recruits.
Ehlinger is going to have to know how to pick his battles on those runs or we will see Buechele again. Clearly this offense must have an athletic QB. He got 20 back on his heels with the run over. IN another universe, where Buechele has a healthy line that can pass block, we may have seen very little of Sam.
And now we get OU; Pissed, but possibly vulnerable on D.
We deserved this win.

Let me be the first to say
It’s OU Week, and OU SUCKS!!!!
Did Toenail Carter have any carries in the second half? Happy with the win, but he was the best RB tonight.
He kicked ass in the first half, probably averaged over 5 yards a carry
Vito, let me tell you: it’s 1:23 a.m. here in South Texas and I can confirm OU does indeed suck.
Wow, didn't realize this, but this has to be the #1 stat of the game. 91 offensive plays run with zero sacks and only one offensive holding penalty. Compared to the Maryland game this is progress.
Texas had 3 penalties for 30 yards
False Start - Offense (Cuney)
Pass Interference - Defense (Hill)
Holding - Offense (Vahe)
Pass Interference - Offense (Hemphill Mapps) Declined
Smartest in-game move by our coaching staff. - accepting the second holding penalty against KSU in 2nd OT pushing them back to the 37 yard line. This was not a given since on that play Texas held the running play to negative yardage. Most coaches would have taken the negative play, by accepting it, they were able to force a missed FG.
Yes there was 18 Hodges was gone before fall and coaches should have known Major's condition. No attempt to shore up OL with JUCO [then Texas does have much sucess with JUCO's. IMO 17 or at least 16 would be adquate depth. Main problem IMO is most OL needs a redshirt year and that has not happened enough.
Makes no sense with carter. Seemed like he would get 6 yards, then he would be taken out for Porter. Kid shows a different gear, he can beat the defense to the sideline.
RB Keaontay Ingram talks about recruiting QB Tanner McKee and DE Joseph Ossai (OrangeBloods):
"We were on him pretty hard as a group," said UT RB commitment Keaontay Ingram. "We just told (Ossai), you know we want you, told him to go ahead and make the move but at the same time make the right decision for him," Ingram said. "We'll just have to wait and see. With the recruiting process, you never know."
"He's (McKee) a great guy. Great people. I feel like that’s what we need at the University of Texas. I feel like he loved it," Ingram said.
I hope the horns beat the out of Baker. I mean like where he swallows that headband
Per 24/7, 2019 LB Marcel Brooks of Flower Mound Marcus will be at the OU game next weekend.
