The big play, blown coverage stuff is getting old. Always involves one of or a mix of Boyd, Jones, and Locke.
couple more things
4. Roach had a great game and seems to have found his place on the defense.
5. Our receivers are going to be great for the next 5 years.
6. We have got to find a kicker our coach can depend on. There is no reason for us to go for it like we have.
7. son might be the best punter to ever play at Texas
8. We were two plays away from closing out that game with a win. One play if Sam pass to Dev Duv is on the money.
Final thoughts: If I'm a DC I am bringing all my blitzes from the right side as Sam is horrible when he has to scramble to his left. This is something Sam really needs to work on.

On the first blOwU touchdown pass, I don't think Boyd could have covered him closer. Boyd was beat but the pass was late and it gave him time to recover, he was in perfect position to make a play but just missed it. You really can't ask for better coverage, he was where he was supposed to be and just missed the ball.
UT fans don't know how to feel - with one exception - Ehlinger (Chipster)

WR Jaylen Waddle quotes (24/7)
“I mean, they are pretty high on my list right now,” Waddle said. “I really do love Texas. I love the coaching staff more than anything. I also love what they’re doing with the slot. They showed me past stats, and they had crazy numbers.”
“I’ve been talking to Coach Herman and Coach Mehringer,” Waddle said. “It’s been great. They’ve been keeping in great contact with me. I’m definitely going to try to make an official visit there.”
“I got a lot of friends there,” Waddle said. “We are always talking to each other. Me and Brennan (Eagles) talk a lot. He tells me about the future. Al’vonte (Woodard) is recruiting me the hardest. With him, it’s all about championships and how we can make Texas great again.”
Waddle made an official visit to Florida State earlier this month. He is scheduled to see TCU and Alabama in the next two weeks. He plans to make a decision later in the recruiting process.
I'm talking about when these receivers are wide open, which extends to games other than OU.

I wonder if the coaching staff has given any thought to son handling place kicking duties also...
Per OrangeBloods, WR Rondale Moore of Louisville, KY will be officially visiting UT this weekend.
FWIW, EJ just CB'd CB Anthony Cook to Texas. States that if Texas is not a complete "train wreck" on the field against OK state and Baylor, more than likely he will pick Texas in a couple of weeks when he commits. He was totally blown away on his official visit and the coaches won over his family.

DT Israel Antwine of Oklahoma City, OK has committed to OK State.

Excellent.
Locke and Boyd seem to be having the most trouble imo. In fact so much so that I might suggest a little more Bonney spelling them. Also, Charles O. really needed to tackle Mayfield. He was there. Malik had trouble as well, only barely got touches on Baker with 3 paths.
