There are no gimmies for this team, especially if players they can't afford to lose keep getting hurt. 7 wins would be pretty amazing the way things have started.
Absolute must read. Awesome insight on coaches recruiting players and their families.

I don't think it is either.
Thursday night game, on the road, struggled with ISU every season since Mack's last year when UT had that controversial 31-30 win in Ames.
I read today UT is a 7-point favorite.
Kansas is a gimme
Gotdamn that little er Mayfield.
Hopefully ou slips a couple times
I'm not falling for that one again.
Possible LB offer incoming.

I think K-State will be tough, West Virginia a swing game and Texas Tech should be easy. These are my changes id make to the above.
Two teams I actually expect us to beat are ISU and KSU, mostly because Texas will be coming off a bi-week and ISU will be a chance to show off to friends and family on ESPN on a Thursday night game. KSU because it's a chance to keep momentum going and it's before Oklahoma.
We will be big underdogs to both Oklahoma and OSU, I expect to see us take that role and run with it, I think we split those two games.
After OSU I think Texas goes on a run with TCU being the only game that scares me, if we trip up I think that will be the game, if we win that game I think we trip up against WVU. Either way I don't see us getting out of the season with less than 4 losses. But that puts us in a good bowl game and I predict a bowl win for 9 win season.
Darnold has had a very mediocre season so far. I don't like him being there.
Would you believe Baylor?
I don't know much about the RB from Penn State, but if I had to pick a Heisman guy right now I'd take Mason Rudolph, his numbers are just crazy.
Yeah gotta admit horns logo is the best out there. Disagree about all the rest though
A&M's 24/7 site is saying they wouldn't be suprised if DE Max Wright of Katy Taylor visits UT again due to Sumlin's uncertain future.
24/7 mentioned a few recruiting stops the staff will be making since it's a bye week.
-Coach Beck will be in California visiting QB Cameron Rising and QB Tanner McKee.
-Coach Washington will be at Houston Lamar to see CB Anthony Cook and CB D'shawn Jamison.
-Coach Giles will go by Conroe Oak Ridge to watch DE Joseph Ossai and 2019 OL Tyler Johnson.
-at least one staff member will visit Humble Atascocita to see five-star 2019 OL Kenyon Green.
