Small schools mean nothing. I should have known you wouldn't get it. And American Heritage the school the kid is from has over 2800 students.
Wentz, Watson, Prescott aren't runners? That is where the position is heading.
I've been on defense facing a mobile QB, it's a whole other deal than knowing ....he can't run. The first problem is having to peak into the backfield to see if the QB is still there. now when trying to cover a receiver it's a hassle.

The ones that have long careers will be the ones that figure out how to stay in the pocket and utilize their weapons. Unfortunately, the hard part is understanding the game and not everyone will grasp it.
Of the three above, I think Wentz will have the best career by a long shot.
They have 2800 kids from K-12.
And my point was that when you watch videos, you need to take into account he's usually not playing against similar talent.
The point you're missing is this....
It all starts in at the HS level and those kids will only be there they 4 years, then off to college for a 3-4 season career. And at that level we are seeing runners at the QB position, just watch Alabama Monday. So nobody cares about longevity and this is what the NFL is getting now. If you want a QB chances are he has some wheels, because that's what the HS/colleges want.
Why are you telling me this? Where did I rave about his football prowess?
He's off to Auburn.
Watching a replay of the Rams vs Cowboys game, did ya know both Gurley and Zeke were stud HS hurdlers?
So what other running backs can say that?
Milt Campbell was a world class hurdler, and an Oly decathlon Champin, he played a few seasons with the Browns prior to Jim Brown.
Hugh "The King" McElhenny was a Cali State hurdlers champion.
Paul Lowe the Chargers first 1000 yard rusher was a stud HS hurdler.
Tyrone Wheatley ran the hurdles at Michigan.
Roger Craig ran the hurdles, not sure he ran track while at Nebraska.
There are HS lines out there today that average over 300 pounds. We have HS kids running times that would have won the Olympics past. Bigger and stronger and faster. This is why in todays football yiu wiull need a legit athlete playing the QB position. Defenders are just too quick to have a cat who can't evade a psass rush.
I follow HS football, trust me, we are seeing more and more black QB's and white guys like a Baker Mayfield who can motor. Guys who can't break a 5.00 in the 40. good luck. YES YES ....but what about Tom Brady, Drew Brees? When are we going to see their like again, if ever.
Bortles can scoot, Mariota can run, Watson, Wilson, Wentz, Rodgers, Taylor, Smith, Newton, Winston, can all motor. And as we lose Eli, Brady, Big Ben watch who replaces them.
The HS 100m record is a 10.00 held by Trendarvis Friday, that beats every Olympics up to 1980. Bob Hayes had a 10.06PR.

Is this what you tell 18 year olds?
You've masturbated while thinking of them.
Aren't you bored with that silliness by now, everyone else is.
I have never masturbated.
I need somebody to make me....
**** Avante 2018 Football Thread ****
The reason every team needs a speed receiver is what we saw with the Vikes. You MUST have somebody who can go the distance from anywhere on the field, something a possession receiver can't do.
Adam Thielan the white WR (go with a TE if need be) for the Vikes got me thinking.
Best white WR per team.

football historian
doesn't have DON HUTSON
Why don't I have Don Hutson?
boyd dowler ahead of don hutson
I know, I actually have Hutson on my All Time team with Rice. Nobody ever dominated their position vs era like he did.
Never make lists half drunk.
