It's foolish to think Flynn is just getting a plea deal because he's just awesome that way.

It's Trump. Mueller doesn't just cancel Grand Jury testimony for the goods on anybody less than Trump.
Flynn is a general and inner circle of the campaign and early presidency. I have a tough time thinking of anyone else he could implicate who would not be a lateral move. Kushner, Bannon, and the like are on the same level.
Maybe some high ranking Russians or someone from that side. It is going to be interesting to see how this shakes out.
