Don't think it was a "buddy" thing, tbh..I doubt Giannis is part of a clique, and he dominated the game..

It just isn't Kawhi's style..it's an attention game led by Russ<3, following in the footsteps of Kobe..
The "buddy" thing was that they (West team) planned on doing all the things to get AD to win the MVP.

ASG is sports show biz at its worst, degrading the game.

All you had to do was watch the 1st quarter to see that KL was basically watching two people play one on one full court.

The reason Russ did so well is because he ran back every possession, most guys didn't. That meant he got the pass.

Same for Davis later in the game.

Funny they blocked Russ' attempt at a 3rd MVP.

KL gave up but had nothing to do with not getting the ball. He saw guys shooting from half court over and over. Decided it's just shoot around, not even a game.

The game was pretty much unwatchable even for the players who attended.

Maybe you're right, I just watched the highlights and looked at the box score, tbh..

Giannis looked like the most entertaining player, based on the highlights..

Kawhi was taking it easy. He trotted or walked in the area within 15 feet either side of mid court, tbh.

He seems like the new Timmy in that aspect.

Would have been hilarious if he got the steal and just to spite everybody layed it in instead
Did you picture it with a DX crutch chop too?

3 point contest is literally the only thing worth watching. even the celebrity game is more entertaining than the actual ASG.

Dunk contest was good for a couple of years. Apparently this year wasn't good (haven't watched it).

ASG went to once Melo was added. Dude had no business in that game, none. Most of the roster on each side was basically glorified chuckers and role players.

The ASG is NOT for players who enjoy playing defense.

For those of us that play even a bit of pick up ball, you know the games when no one is really playing and its just the 2-3 best players there fooling around. Long in bound passes to whomever is snowbirding after an uncontested fancy layup.

    Not fun at all.

Understandable. It's 48 minutes of non compe ive BB. Highlights are impressive though.

I guess if it's worth watching the condensed version of a game, is this.
