lol Clitoris Nation will be his miserable self for at least 5 more years
"He’ll opt out of his final $24.26 million and ink a new deal with the Clippers for north of $200 million. Sources close to the process said that it’s already been verbally agreed to and it’s simply a function of the calendar and the new Collective Bargaining Agreement kicking in"

Maybe he will be the Tom Brady of PGs?
Except Brady never misses games only one major injury and is the most clutch QB in many observers eyes...
Brady actually makes clutch passes to s not named Jannero Pargo
He's the 2nd most powerful player in the NBA, tbh..wouldn't be surprising if he influenced his way to that type of payday..
Ballmer is a moron who needs to off back to Seattle. When it's all said and done, this idiot is going to piss $400+ million away on a treadmill team this summer alone. For all the he talked about being "hardcore" when he bought the team, he's too much of a pussy to rebuild, reload or even fire Doc. He's not Sterling-level bad, but he's as bad as the idiot who owns the Kings - another tech guy who thinks he knows anything about basketball. Hmm, maybe there's a theme there.

Cuban too, tbh
Although I'm not sure Cuban can be called a tech guy... broadcast.com
Clipper Nation He'll be 32 in a few months. This is a GREAT deal for the Clipps!
Thoughts on the majority of Americans wanting to deport your ass, Julio?

Worst case scenario is we, the Clipper fans, will regret the last 2 years of this contract. That's an $80 million hit in our cap. But given the FA landscape under the new CBA, these figures are going to be the norm.
People laugh, but what choice do the Clippers have? Of course you wouldn't want to have to give a 6 foot, 32 year old, with a significant injury history, 5 years and $209M, but look at it this way: despite the relative lack of playoff success, they're a perennial top 5 team, with 2 top 10 players and there's no path that is likely to get them back to this level anytime soon. You need a lot of luck to get to this level in any scenario and it increases tenfold when you're devoid of picks/young talent. Also, losing him could mean losing Griffin too, at which point they'd no longer be a prime free agent destination.
They might as well pull a Mavericks, keep trying with this core and hope that 1 year everything falls into place and they get a championship out of it. If not, at least they should remain further along than the majority of the league for a while. They'll just have to hope that he continues to age gracefully and even with further decline, remains a top 20ish player throughout the majority of the contract. If he can stay relatively healthy, I wouldn't put it past him.
You ain't no in' picnic to be around either.
I'm your enemy on every front
He sucks your shriveled 90% of the time
Big difference
You want to wgt with me?
