la la land backlash is unwarranted, it was the best of the bunch but they were all good. manchester was well done but overrated.
hacksaw ridge would have been higher on my list but the first 30 minutes where the hot nurse inexplicably falls for the creepy re almost ruined it. amazing after that part.
hidden figures is a good story but they shouldn't have tried to cast cookie from empire as an intellect. felt like a made for TV movie at times.
