Government can't afford to pay for everyone's health insurance. Republicans are no different than Democrats when it comes to en lement spending.

LOL they're trying to repeal the individual mandate rectroactive to 2016 so every insurer will pull out ASAP. There you go America, now you're going back to the days of medical bankruptcy after electing orange hitler.

Insurances couldn't afford it anyway. This whole myth of people having insurance doesn't mean much if healthcare providers refuse to see those patients due to paltry reimbursement from those crappy insurer plans. Basically government is paying for millions more to get insured without necessarily improving the overall quality of care.

Actually what am I saying trying to repeal the mandate. Price can effectively repeal the mandate this very second by dropping the penalty to $0.

Trump always lied during the campaign. His supporters are going to find out the hard way. It's gonna be glorious to see outrage unless of course it leads to them shooting more brown people like TSA and Darrin support.

That would only increase the speed of the ACA's collapse

I just want to see Vox go to that town in Kentucky again. That was hilarious the first time but now that it's actually happening to see the looks on those gots' faces.

It's going to die either way.

You used to admit what a piece of the ACA was.

It is a piece of since it didn't address cost, but is much better than our previous and upcoming system. At least the ACA actually covered people, now we go back to the system where we're still by far the most expensive in the world and lots of people don't have coverage. I don't see how bringing medical bankruptcy back is going to be a good move for America.

Of course I'm not surprised, I have been saying all along Trump is a trojan horse into Washington to get all the Republicans' crap through. And it's the DNC's fault. Instead of talking about what Trump was going to do to working Americans you had Clinton focusing on pussy grabbing and what a pig Trump is. Like Obama said, elections have consequences and this is going to be a really nasty one.

lots of countries are not single-payer, and yet spend nowhere near what the US does, for similar outcomes...

As a lawmaker mentioned on the Fox piece in the OP, if they didn't address cost, we're back to square one...
