At least four hall of farmers, maybe five, not counting Bertans.
All the PATFO critics have to realise they've either picked better or developed better than their contemporaries or simply coached better. 60 wins with the least lottery talent.San Antonio has only three players on its active roster selected within the top 20 picks in the NBA draft (former No. 2 overall pick LaMarcus Aldridge, former No. 3 pick Pau Gasol and former No. 15 Kawhi Leonard.) That's tied for the fewest on any roster this season with Brooklyn and New Orleans.

A 60-win team using mostly kibbles and bits role players.
Porker.
Can wait til I join the hall of farmers. Should I wear my overalls to the induction ceremony?
Be sure to get your date on Farmers Only

Yeah it's cool to see a team that was built.
What the ?
This should be its own thread.
Crazy that if the Spurs hit 60 wins (which they will) it will be the first time Pop has had consecutive 60 win seasons.
Must have been TD holding the team back.
It's because they have had the fewest Top 20 draft picks of any team in the last 20 years. They only had one 20 pick in all those years, and that was a relatively draft.
The Spurs have done an incredible job of finding guys like Bruce Bowen and Danny Green. And they have been able to attract guys like Robert Horry and Steve Kerr late in their careers, because they offered them the best chance to win a ring. The FO did a great job, but ultimately all of that was possible because of Tim Duncan.
The Spurs have a great/smart ownership group, and they have put together a great management team. David Robinson's contributions and influence run through it all. But this is The House That Tim Built.
So THIS is the video Bonner used for ransom on Pop all this time?
Amazing. Even more if you think in Manu and Parker's picks.
LMAOOOOOO
Bonner's just lost his leverage by releasing this tbh.
I know right.. Lol
Make it a thread if ya want.
This either means RC is bad at recruiting top talent or that SA is just undesirable for reasons.
I get that if we win a lot we don't get lottery picks, but still.
The fact that the Spurs have been consistently good for 20 straight years without having to reload is a testament to the job the front office has done. Almost every team runs through i's cycles of good years followed by bad years where they have to reload through the draft. San Antonio has defied the odds. We as fans should feel pretty blessed. I have a son who's been around for 4 championships and never witnessed a Spurs losing season. Pretty remarkable stuff for a pro sports franchise.
Perhaps it means that the Spurs have always been picking late in the draft and the FO has had to work some miracles to keep the Spurs compe ive while staying close to the salary cap most years.
