Eh, I never really saw them as a rival. , I rooted for them back in the early-mid 2000s when I was growing up and a lot of my friends were Astros fans. Plus my little league team was the Astros for like three years in a row . I'm a Rangers/Padres fan first and foremost though.

It's incredible. And it ALWAYS starts the same way when he melts down. Usually a leadoff walk, next batter he falls behind in the count, batter invariably gets basehit. Next batter hits dinger or keeps rally going. That pitch to Gurriel was the worst pitch of his carer. Do not around with fastballs against a free swinger. Gurriel was in launch mode no matter what pitch was thrown. He would've swung at a cricket bowl there.

Fark I would do whatever it took to close this, even if it meant bringing in relievers now. I would relieve at first sign of continued Kershaw chokage. Pretty much one guy on base (unless error) I go to pen.

Kershaw can still somewhat redeem himself by giving us 2 or 3 solid innings. Still a huge choker, but this would like Kirby shooting 4-20 and then hitting 2 shots in the row in the 4th or something.
