Ive been following this game for quite some time.
I heard through multiple gaming outlets that it is incredibly difficult.
Well its coming out soon and I'm definitely getting it. My friend has a copy of the JP version which already has English on it, so I tried and it is difficult but rewarding once you get some of the quests done. If you like adventure RPGs but like a challenge this is for you also it has multiplayer but I havn't had the chance to try it yet.

It is especially in the beginning but still very fun though you will die in this game more then any other you have played probably.

Got a 9.0 on Gamespot today the only negative it got if you could even call it one is that it is very difficult which will drive some players away. Just tried the multiplayer today and it is very fun.
Funny enough this is the game that's making me say "I want a ps3 now" and seriously made me consider buying one to play it.
Well I can definitely say its one of the best RPGs I have ever played.
Looks good. I wouldn't buy a PS3 for it... but it looks pretty cool.
Picking my copy up today.

Don't get too addicted to it lol, I just got done with my third boss today with a couple of other players.
Okay so I didn't really pay much attention to this game at first...
But after reading reviews, I'm absolutely getting it. It sounds incredible. It just jumped onto my must have list along with Modern Warfare 2 and Uncharted 2.
Had not heard a word about this game up until this thread, but it sounds and looks amazing.
Gonna have to pick this one up soon.

Right now I have to say Im frustrated with the game but in a way where I can't put the controller down lol.
CH, is Borderlands not on you're must haves? I really don't dig the Cell Shaded look, honestly.
I'm holding out on it. Honestly it isn't at this point because I haven't heard anything about how good the game actually is. It does look like it has a lot of potential, but it's going to really have to be mind-blowing to make it onto my must buy list, considering Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls are definitely must buys, and we are on the eve of God of War 3, MW2, Diablo III, Left 4 Dead 2, and soon thereafter Starcraft II and Gran Turismo 5. And I still have to finish Mass Effect and play through the Broken Steel and Point Lookout expansions of Fallout 3, and I also just picked up Mount & Blade, which is pretty impressive. To say nothing of the fact that I'm completely addicted to the (completely free) League of Legends right now.

Ive been playing M&B also I tried a couple mods SOD and POP its fun and very time consuming lol.
A game that actually penalizes you for dying?
And yes, the urge to throw the controller may rear its ugly head while playing this game, especially early on. However, stalking some poor schlub and hitting him hard while he's in the middle of a tough fight is nothing but sugary goodness.
Probably one of the best games I've played in years and one of the few I'll actually run through again.
+1 did you already go through the the black phantom boss fight? It blew my mind lol.
Just bought this game today. It's $30 new at Gamestop right now.
I'm already hooked. One more game that I have to play through.
But it's freaking awesome.
Seriously? Demon's Souls is the only PS3 exclusive that I envy. Surprised you haven't played through that twice already. Good luck.
I stopped playing it a few months ago. I can't go back now since my PS3 decided to stop recognizing discs.
The funny thing is that I did most of my playing during a period when the developers made it easier. I can't possibly imagine how frustrating it would be to play the game with pure black worlds.
Eh, there have been so many good games out lately that I haven't had a chance to pick up some even A+ list les. I haven't played Uncharted II, either. But yes, Demon's Souls is worth owning a PS3 for by itself, if what the reviews say are true... and they have been thus far. 4 hours on it today.
So far through world 1 (the small king), the game is actually much easier than I was expecting. I have died 5-6 times, but they were mostly due to stupidity, inexperience, or that ing dragon. 4 of my deaths were to the dragon, the other two were just bad play by me. I seriously doubt the worlds are completely black right now.
World 1? That is easy.
You are going to get your ass kicked later on.

Small world. Bought that just yesterday haven't had a chance to play it just yet. Looking forward to the fight of my gaming life.
So far this game has the goods. It's a blast to play but the total lack of a pause button is a serious pain in the ass some times.
