I feel sick that the Spurs promote Kyle Anderson...he is a lazy ass happy player just like that TeddyBlair. A few years ago it was about real talent and fighters. Now it's old talent and pretending late picks who are not that good have "potential". Pau Gasol was fantastic some years ago. He is still better than average and will be one of the best players on this team, but not as good as before. Who cares.

I do think the choice of picture has some significance. One of the Spurs players had commented when Patty was signed that it was awesome and that he's like the leader of the Spurs. Gross, but true story.

If there is significance, its "significance lite". For one its a good pic and not easy to find, but another, its pretty normal for the top players to have a secret rivalry and there might not be a good pic out there with both in it because of that.

We've been spoiled by Tim Duncan. There is no physical transformation for LMA on the horizon. He will rely on regular season games to get in shape again. You get what you earn, hope he likes playing the five this year.

How does everyone know he's out of shape? Has some video been posted? TD21 mentioned him looking out of shape sitting down in some quick vid. Do we have any additional evidence?

Not saying you're wrong. He very well could be. Past behaviour is the best indicator of future success (or lack thereof).
