Parker has, is, and will continue to give the Spurs more production than Green in the postseason. November, December, January basketball doesn't matter aka the only months Green was good last season.
Seriously. They're already doing wrong by Danny by keeping an injured Parker over him. trying to be nice and move him to wherever for the best deal possible. He can be in SAC or Philly for a year.

trying to defend Parker by saying that playing well in November doesn't matter.
People were worried about how the Spurs would look after LMA's supposed claims about the Spurs hurting him to potential FA's. It'd look pretty bad too if they decide to move TP for all he's done and the sacrifices he's made for the team. Especially to a guy like Kawhi who then has to wonder if he'll be moved when he gets older but wants to possibly be a Spur for life...
It's tough to say they're doing wrong by Danny, especially after his play recently. It just hasn't been up to par, and I'm a big DG supporter.
trying to defend a dude with a broken shot that you called irreplaceable, when the Spurs are about to ship his ass to the next bus headed to Brooklyn. Det LASIK surgery tho
Nobody likes terrence Jones as a back up inside ? Could be a nice addition imo.
looks like we have to wait a week and a half to here more news. been super quiet today
At this point I'd like Hill and Millsap on pay cuts. around 20 mill each.
cap for Hill and sign and trade for Millsap anyone?
2016-2017 stats
November/December Danny Green:
46.4 3P%
Jan/Feb/Mar/April Danny Green:
33.3 3P%
Playoffs Danny Green:
34.2 3P%
Spurs will likely put in a phone call to Afflalo. Think he stays out West though. Lakers or Clippers.
I imagine DG/LMA for PG13/Monta Ellis is what is on the table. Salaries work almost perfectly. Spurs probably holding it up because they don't want to include fathead.
More importantly, they want nothing to do with Monta.
i don't think Monta would hold them up. He could fill that six man scoring void left by Patty/Manu. My guess is they want a prospect included like Murray, Bertrans, fathead. LMA and DG could be gone in a year via player options.
Eh. Don't think Pacers care for the former
Their GM did draft him. He's still a max player in today's NBA.
Wouldn't be a bad pick up if they're signed him
I've said this a couple of times already but Pasecniks, Bolden and Lessort for Green works for both Philly and the Spurs.
Spurs can stash Bolden and Lessort for a year and see what's what in 2018 and sign Pasecniks and White to rookie scale deals.
We need to send Danny for Philly assets. Two of Okafor, AP, Bolden would do nicely.
Blake Griffin opted out, now a free agent.
Blake would be interesting on good deal (given injuries)
Griffin going home to OKC makes a ton of sense.
Might be some desperate team trade for Danny or LMA when they miss out in Free Agency... Not over yet. With that said it's hard seeing the Spurs just give him away for nothing though. Phoenix just needs to give up Chriss or Bender for him tbh... I think a solid young prospect should be enough at this point.
Bledsoe/Booker/Jackson/Aldridge/Chandler would be solid.
Ok, maybe I have the cap #'s wrong, but I am getting su ious about all this trade DG talk vs trading LMA.
The theory to this offseason is that we are targeting CP3. But trading DG won't open a full max for him, never mind say enough space to re-sign Gasol (I'm figuring there is a wink-wink deal). Trading LMA though, would make a max for CP3 and resigning Gasol practical...(assuming of course that they release all cap holds and drop Forbes).
Could the FO be planning on zigging when everyone else is zagging? Dump Danny and drop Forbes (and assorted cap holds other than JSIMMS) and I believe that there is enough cap space to offer Hayward a max contract. Kawhi + Hayward = A modern Jordan+Pippen?
