Both Connely and Fat Gasol along with a 3rd Grizz stay in the backcourt pouting while Parker and Patty race up court. You know who else races up court? Kwa Leonard, the real MVP.
Parker launches his stooped lob, as if Patty was a 6'9" jumping jack. Ball hangs in the air way too long, thrown way too early. Leonard was a step and a half (of his huge ass steps) past half court as Patty was catching the ball. By the time Patty shoots, Kwa has a foot almost on the three point line. Had Patty had the presence of mind to not shoot but give it back to Parker, would have been easy hoop for Spurs. Ennis would have went flying by and the Spurs would have been 2 on 1.

For that matter LMA came into the frontcourt as Patty was getting stuffed.

Yeah, that sucked. But the bigger problem was David Lee trying to draw a charge instead of going for the block on Marc Gasol, and giving up a 3 point play.

You wrap the guy up or get out of the way. A weak foul resulting in an and1 is an absolute no-no late in a playoff game. It will end up costing games...And it did.

Look at the OKC game. They just had a miracle missed free throw kick out for 3 to cut the lead to one. They don't foul in the back court which would've made it a 3 pt game max. Instead they let them break the D into the front court then give a weak foul on Nene who gets the and1. Ball game.

Sometimes these players are idiots, like running backs or receivers who don't run out of bound to stop the clock. Youve got to know the situation.
