    BEAST MODE....hmmm?

The first stud Raider RB was actually a DB from Praire View named Clem Daneils. My Niners drafted him but...traded him. So he ends up in Oakland and a position switch. He would become the first Raider 1000yd rusher. As we can see, he was a stud.

The first BEAST MODE was his running mate....Hewritt Dixon....a thumper also out of a small black school...Florida A&M (Bob Hayes)

    The great Clem Daneils

Art Powell was out of nearby San Jose State, a great receiver.

Lamonica to Wells....9.4 sprinter out of another small black school Texas Southern.

    Thread already ruined. , man.
By talking about the legends that made the Raiders what they are is ruining things, what????????

Dude, OBVIOUSLY we all get the current situation so why not add some depth....ok? You act like you're afraid to learn anything.

    Current situation...

What a time to be making the move, the Raiders are FINALLY back in the hunt and now this, that sucks.

    Remember Raider Bo Roberson

You know how the Raiders have always been known for the speed? Well Bo Roberson was the roots to the tree, he was an Olympic long jumper in 1960 and a 9.5 sprinter while at Cornell.

Like the direction McKenzie went in the draft, but main criticism is that he didn't prioritize MLB high enough.

Still, went CB, S, DT, OT, LB, S, OT, RB, DT. The need to prioritize defense was obvious, and he didn't overthink it

most excited to see how Obi Melifanwu is used. 6'4, 225 pound safety who played some corner. we've sucked against TE's in recent years, so at the very least he'll be a matchup guy

yeah, it was expected. luck signed his extension a year ago. you account for the growing cap and that's basically the market right now. given his age, carr is one of the top assets in the league right now

mack will get a monster extension next offseason. how they manage the roster with 2 guys making that much money is going to be something to keep an eye out for.

"My team" doesn't exist anymore. Last I checked, there's no longer any such thing as the San Diego Chargers.

Damn Concubine Nation turned cowardice and got rid of his team's logo. But damn Carr just paved the way for Stafford to get $27mil Lions.

it's a lot of money, obviously, but this is par for the course for QB contracts. if you're a good frachise QB, you find the most recent megadeal and adjust for inflation. heck, compared to lucks deal, its a smaller percentage of the cap (by annual average)

carr's average (25 mil) is just under 15% of the current cap. lucks was a bit over 15. flacco's big deal back in 2013 was 16%

Really think the Raiders should've waited another season to give him that money, but I agree he's definitely the best young asset in the league.

Those Chargers don't exist anymore. I'm with CN here. I knew it was coming and that's why i gave up on them a couple years ago.

Well, I'm getting on the Raiders train. I'm a Marshawn Lynch fan. Still pissed off about the throw at the 1 yard line. I went for Seattle because I liked their defense (I'm a defense first guy), and I also liked Wilson and loved Marshawn, but yeah, Wilson I liked his first two years in the league, but after that it seems like he's turned into a real bag. Wilson lost me somewhere between the Superbowl and the NFC Championship game. He was absolutely terrible in that NFC Championship game and pretty much cost them the game if it wasn't for Marshawn's miracle 4th quarter performance that saved the game and got them into the Superbowl. After the game Wilson said something along the lines of God made it like that so they could be tested (I can't remember what he said exactly), but anyway, I thought, what a tool, you almost lost that game with an abysmal performance and Marshawn saved your ass. Then after the Superbowl I was just disgusted with him. Couldn't he have changed the play on the goal line to run the ball instead of passing it? Can't the Quarterback do that?
