He didn't miss shots. Wasn't in any other way remarkable but his shot was on. Maybe even needed more shots.
Didnt miss a shot. He scored 13pts in 17 min. He and Simmons are the only ones that came to play.

Always love Bertans.
Needs to be part of the second unit full time
Only way he'll get meaningful minutes is if one of the Turd Towers or Lee goes down. Pop doesn't play rookies unless there's an injury and there's no other option.
in Pop cant see why he cant play Bertans more. His shot is a thing to behold

but but but we can't take away minutes and shots from our leader Aldridge.
The stat sheet thingy also says he had 4 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK, and 2 FTM. Are those letters good?
Just that it wasn't in any way remarkable compared to anyone else ... what was remarkable was not missing shots but we already knew he could shoot. As the hot hand in that contest, he maybe should have gotten more shots.
That was maybe on the PG to call. (or Pop)
Bertans Always plays well. Pop just doesnt like to play him because hes pop.
This has been the biggest head scratcher. He seems like he's be perfect to spread the floor when they wanna blitz us and trap. We've also seen his go off the dribble and even be a pretty good playmaker. Not to mention he can rebound and blockshots, especially against a small team like gay state.
If Bonner was still on the team he would have seen big minutes. Bertrans who's more talented barely plays. Smh poo
I think it is safe to say we have entered the no other options territory.
He's like Murray though. Some nights shots go in and he looks like a world beater, other nights nothing falls. Both of them need more experience before playing in big games.
"When in doubt, trot out some vets"
Typical.
Davis has a decent showing against the warriors second stringers and now everyone thinks he'll be a key contributor if he cracks the regular rotation.
Then, if he has a bad outing, same fans complain about him getting too many minutes.
Poop doesn't play rookies. Lets remember when he refused to play Splitter against Memphis in favor of McDyess
there's no better time then now, tbh
For what we need he makes sense.
here would be my starting lineup assuming here KL is healthy..
JSIMMS -- PG
DG -- SG
KL -- SF
DB --PF
LMA -- C
** You get shot creators with this lineup & Allows spacing, DB has a bit more lateral movement than PG.
Plus they wont want to leave DB open here at the AT&T center.
Start
PG Murray
SG Simmons
SF Kahwi only if 95% and above and no further damage
SF2 Bertie
PF Gasoft
C Dedmon.
Let em run like and see what happens.
Simmons is not afraid of got Durant.
Murray is not afraid of got Curry
Make these two es play defense and you take away 80% of their twink transition wide open shots.
