With the draft less than 3 weeks away, Figured I'd start a thread about players that are working out for the team.
Sindarius Thornwell, SG - S. Carolina
Luke Kornet, C - Vanderbilt
DJ Wilson
http://www.detroitnews.com/story/spo...ams/101626670/Wilson tweaked his left quad recently during a workout with the San Antonio Spurs...
Bummer. He's a good player. Game reminds me of a young Robert Horry.
Bradley's only 19 & has good size + is fundamentally sound. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a Spurs target.

He's one of the players on my wishlist.
Hope they work out G -Josh Hart and C- Isaiah Hartenstien
Based on history, that's a lot of names we can cross off the list.
Trade up for John Collins at all costs
Surprised we don't see a lot more white Euros, tbh
TBH despite working out all these college guys, I'm fully expecting them to draft a Euro-stash like Rodions Kurucs or Anzejs Pasecniks at 29. One of the two will likely be available (Kurucs most likely).
No lie, was thinking the exact same thing. Fergusson, Hartenstein, Kurucs, and Pasecniks all in our range. Draft and stash sounds like the best move this year, especially to keep flexibility for Paul. Spurs need to buy more time...
Spurs really need to consider trading up early in the 2nd round. This would be the year to do it. Some lefitimate talent will still be available between picks 30-36.
Sounds like a headache and with the two way contracts I doubt a trade down would be worth it. Teams with second round picks typically have more control and also with the talent in this draft any trade down that'd be worth it, Magic and Philly, have no reason to trade up. They can stack assets. Draft and stash here and two way there. Magic also signed Hammon so you know after what he's done with Milwaukee, he's gonna want his picks. Philly is 36 and 39. Who knows what's left there. Probably get a much better pick at 29. And Boston I dunno. Maybe but not as great value. We'all see though. If we really are going after Paul that pretty much binds the ability to draft domestics cause they are gonna want to play...
Great thread. Thanks for starting and posting updates.
Also totally agree with this. I'd love to see them get an early second rounder and still keep the one they have. But even if that's not possible, trading up for an early second round pick could get them a legit player this time.
Does Becky have a contract with the Spurs? I'd trade her for a second round pick.
