I can't say he's going to be great or anything but he looks like he will be better than Patti.
Derrick White is the pick. For all those experts that say he won't amount to crap please place your name on it. I for one look at skill sets and history as a barometer for my thoughts. I will start by saying....... This kid is going to be ok.

from what i see, he has a hard work mentallity. If he works hard consistently he can be great, i believe he will be great.
Yep. Kudos to the Spurs for drafting Derrick White.
If he's half the player Parker was, it's a win.
Solid back up shooter/lead guard off the bench at best.
Still preferred Bell and still pissed about Spurs not willing to either trade or buy a 2nd to get him.
Like the 80/50/40 he put up this year in college. Also he has a work hard reputation. Looks good.
Book it: White will become the Kawhi of guards. He will become a reliable shooter and defensive pitbull.
White: Good shooting, good passing, but very noticeably slow. I can see why the instant ST reaction was quite negative in the wake of Kyle Anderson.
I'm excited for this kid, he's going to be a fan favorite and help Kawhi win les.

He will be ok. He won't be an all star, and I can see him as a defensive liability when it counts
The fact is that the kid could have off the charts work ethic, and if he gets with the right trainers and coaches he could have a meteoric rise like KL did. Probably not, but it could happen.
