It was really referring to the dleague... but why not bringing him in? Not many bigs so far in the team. Only one is Bertans

Fathead has been retired permanently from SL. He has nothing left to prove.

Now we have Dijon and Mini Fathead to replicate Fathead's SL success.

I'm living in Las Vegas now and I'll be at all the Spurs games.

It was great last year. Met a number of the players and a few other Spurs alums like Nazr Mohammed, RC Buford and Brent Barry.

I highly recommend it if you can make it.

Would be fun to see him try. Might be able to get into the next BIG3 season. However, too big of an injury concern.

The guy has a dream. I would love to seem him earn a roster spot in SL somewhere. I know it's not really the purpose of the SL, but if he has the game to compete, I hope he gets the chance.

Either way, that's a pretty amazing physique for a 61 year old guy. I can think of some young guys that could really benefit from being in that kind of shape.

Good thing this isn't the 2011 Spurs or we'd be watching this guy join the Spurs summer league team.

yep Fathead and JSimms were looking like 6th year seniors in the SL. The other parents were complaining and asking for copies of birth certificates. Dijon, Forbes the rookies and the stach squad will have to make up the team this year. Too bad we don't have a JayMychal Green type in the Turos this year. I always thought he would eventually make the squad now he is a FA the Grizz are willing to let Zbo go to keep.

I remember you talking about it last year. I wish I could, but El Paso is hot enough. Las Vegas is skin-searing . I look forward to what you see and run into though.

No doubt he looks to be in fantastic physical shape. I wonder how much hard, full court work he has been putting in. Most older gentlemen would struggle with their ability to go more than 2 or 3 minutes full court without grabbing their shorts. You also tend to lose your speed as you age. The mind thinks "I can do it," but the body doesn't usually cooperate very well as you age.

Oh, I know. Being in shape isn't the same as being in game shape. But if he's bold enough to dream like that, I'm pulling for him. I hope if he's got the goods, he gets a shot.
