For those of you who can't understand the Spurs drafting two guards, Spurs still have the option of keeping LMA for an extra year. However, it is the most likely testament that Patty Mills is gone, and Ginobili is, in fact, retiring...

White's PNR pop is Mills. He's replaced. Spurs desperately need that cap space. Just not sure if Jaron is Dedmon's replacement or are they getting another big? If Porzingis that would be great, but I don't know how he holds back with Gasol/Zbo, Adams/Kanter. Yikes

agree. Would not want Mills on the Spurs roster at the price it will cost to keep him. Let Philly overpay for him.

I like Mills but he needs to get paid which Spurs can't afford. He is gone.

I swear, these casuals have not been keeping up with the news.

And then there's the fact that Anderson is likely gone after this upcoming season. Jaron is in a good position to replace him as Kawhi's backup if he plays up to his potential.

that pot has been stirred so much there isn't anything left in it. Even Dabom has gone from his "start Patty, Parker is done" scthick to "start Dijon, Parker is done". However might as well post while people are still looking, FA frenzy is right around the corner.

Mills is a superior backup, but a mediocre starter. We probably can't afford to pay him and we also desperately need for one of our young PG's to develop, which will probably require some PT.

i don't see the picks signifying anything meaningful. spurs likely will not play White much and very rarely does a 2nd round pick every amount to anything. i wouldnt hold my breath

he's a superior backup if he is playing off the ball, next to a playmaker that can find him open for good 3 pt looks (even then, those are streaky). As a ballhandler and main option in the bench he has been subpar two seasons in a row in the postseason, even as a bench player. no thank you. I hope Spurs wisen up.
