I'll give you two scenarios, very similar. You tell me which is Catholicism and which is Islam:

1. Child comes home and complains to parents that Father O'Feely touched him inappriately. Parents get mad and call the police, file a suit and a restraining order on the offender.

2. Child comes home, doesn't say anything. 2 days later his head shows up in a bag with a video of him being beheaded. Parents commit suicide.
