im about midway thru season 3. its a solid show.
season 1 felt like discount breaking bad. season 2 felt like discount house of cards. too early to say how i feel about season 3
Didn't feel like discount anything to me. I think it's top shelf.
have 1 episode left of season 3. the dude who plays Ben (Ward in Iron Fist) is an outstanding actor
also, Ruth Langmore is literally just Jessie Pinkman
I've watched all of the episodes and this is how I feel about the show as a whole. But still good enough that I'll keep going back for more. Straddles the line of good TV and guilty pleasure.
Nah. But they turned her into a version of a Mary Sue in Season 3.
nah she got her ass beat just like jessie pinkman did from time to time
I mean from the standpoint of she has all these abilities for which she shouldn't have them.
And she only took a beating for a story device; so that that dude could get his blown off.
That was sensationalism writing in its own right.
a season after she got tortured by the cartel.
she's the existing small time crook who runs into the big time crook protagonist and suffers as a result of that relationship (which has some parent-child dynamic to it), while also acting as something of a moral compass of the show despite not being a perfect character
jesse pinkman was also able to cook better meth than the dude down in mexico despite not knowing how to synthesize basic components . there's your mary sue
Your Rey Mary Sue PTSD is kicking in.
you're still bleeding about Rey, derp?
derps the only one with Mary sue ptsd, considering he’s the one who brought it up to begin with
Rescue attempt (Reaching out your hand)
Accepting the rescue attempt (Taking Chump's hand)
you're just a breathing grudgepost at this point, derp
Yep. The young character who's very capable on a small time level. But just can't do big picture stuff and gets used by the person that can.
A lot of the chatter and teasers dropped around S4 are Ruthie "coming into her own."
...series star Jason Bateman put it, it could be sooner than expected given the current state of COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
"As far as when it's gonna come out, it's really going to be reliant on, you know, if we can stay in production," Bateman explained. "This sort of this race, the whole world is in between vaccinations and these variants. I mean, basically, it's going to get to us a whole lot quicker now that Joe Biden's got his hand on the wheel. It would have would have taken longer with the last administration, so I think we're gonna get it to TV sooner thanks to Uncle Joe."

The SW posts. Just one example of why the derp bus had to be put out of commission.
Please.
Every movie, every show I watch/catch a glimpse of that is stamped 2020 & 2021---nary a one has the actors masked, or, distanced. They never stopped doing their the way they wanted to do it.
My first thought that came to mind. Hollywood fake AF; mind control.
Didn't you listen to Ton Cruise meltdown? That's why they dont have to wear masks. They're already vaccinated and follow all protocols.
