    No shock. They are stretching out what he was owed over three years plus a little extra so they could get cap space. This was a smart move by Gasol and Spurs front office.

    They needed the money this year. Gasol can still be an effective player. He had his moments last year and if he can keep hitting 3s, all the more. I'm fine with him, he was unselfish and adjusted fine to coming off the bench when asked. His offensive game is still good and even if he's slow on defense, at least he's long. Big men age better than guards.
