Wow. And Mike Williams, premium 1st round pick, might miss half or more of his rookie season. And so it begins.

I feel bad for Williams and Lamp, but it's nice to see Dean Spanos find out that San Diego was never the reason why his franchise is such a hole. Gonna be fun to watch them lose in an empty soccer stadium.

or shock the world and go 9-7 and squeak in the playoffs as a bottom wildcard

Not like the Jets were winning anything anyway. My 1-15 projection stands. They'll get a split on Buffalo per par

Edelman is a pretty big loss. Time for Amendola to step it up.

I think it goes one of two ways. Chargers will be bad first half of the season no doubt. It could be 4-12 or around 8-8, 9-7 is the ceiling. You never know with Rivers, he's the gunslinger supreme of the league.

After Martyball showed them how to do it by building a great O-Line, they have utterly failed to build up the O-Line.
Now 2nd rounder is out for year as yet again all indications point that Charger strength and steroids team is severely lacking.

Should have traded inbred Rivers years ago and built a kick ass O-Line.

their suckass OL and DL (except Bosa) is the problem, just like Dallas circa 2007-2013 with Romo... upper tier, gunslinger QB who has a knack for both miracle throws and poorly timed interceptions. One great pass rusher (DeMarcus Ware; Bosa) and otherwise a below average defense.

The Chargers, well... their skill positions on both sides of the ball (Rivers, TE and WR corps, Verrett, Hayward and Addae) are pretty darn good, but they lose both ways in the trenches. Opposite of the problem the Eagles have had recently with dominating the trenches but having little to no skill talent on either side of the ball.
