Savage is currently the best QB in Texas tbh.
I'm having fun with this..DUH~~~ BUT........usually I don't like to be too critical of young players, it does take some longer to find themselves at the next level. People forget we were hearing....BUST~~~...for O.J.Simpson. Jerry Rice dropped how many passes his rookie season? Peyton had how many INT's his rookie season?
I like to give things some time, a wait and see, BUT....since that is way too complex for this place, might as well join in the...only right now matters.

Dak looked like i need to pick up Mariotta for my fantasy playoffs if that's what he does without ******. I was up by 2 with all opponets players played already, i shoulda benched dak. Let it roll, what's the worst he can do? ended up scoring me -2 points to tie. Luckily i won the tie breaker with my bench scoring.

Here it is a chance for Savage to show the world what he's all about tonight. I am talking ....RIGHT NOW...ya see only dummies get carried away after a couple seasons. Funny watching the rookies play that.
If he sucks tonight, ok, he's not ready....yet. If he shines.....I'll be surprised. But...regardless of how he plays this season he is not....THE BEST QB IN TEXAS PERIOD, not that that shouldn't be real obvious.

Savage has some arm talent but has no mobility, can't extend plays, doesn't see things. Safe to say Clipper Nation is wrong about this turnover machine being the best QB anywhere.
Yes, maybe he can get better but it's real obvious this is a second string talent.

Pretty clear-cut to me. Can Dak surpass Tom Savage? Of course, and in fact he was better last year. Is he currently better? No.

Why don't you take the BBC out of your mouth? Numbers don't lie; at the time of my comment, a few weeks before it, and even now Savage has been playing better than Dak.
Do you really think Tom Savage would get the nod over Dak Prescott if a coach could have either guy starting Sunday....well?
