Limbaugh Pushes Charlottesville Conspiracy: 'Clintons and Obamas' Possibly 'Very Much Involved'
Conservative radio talk show icon Rush Limbaugh suggested on Wednesday that top Democrats — including “the Clintons and the Obamas” — might have conspired to ensure violence during the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
While Limbaugh failed to offer proof to back up the “possibility,” he said the “Democrat apparatus” got “exactly that which was hoped for and sought”:
“I think we should consider the possibility that the Clintons and the Obamas and the top-down Democrat apparatus, including the media is very much involved in this, because, like I said yesterday, folks, all of this is organized."
“None of this was spontaneous,” he said, as he contrasted the difference between how the “drive-by media,” wants people to view the opposing sides in Charlottesville:
“...what happened Saturday was just a bunch of skinhead, Nazi, white supremacist, Klansmen showed up in Charlottesville, Virginia. And just because they showed up, they're reprehensible; they're reprobates they’re creeps, they’re human debris, they’re s , we gotta get rid of them.”
As opposed to Antifa and other left-wing counter-protesters:
“...spontaneously, a bunch of gentle, non-violent, freedom-loving, anti-racist [...] great Americans showed up to stop them. And the Nazis and the Klan and the white supremacists, they just mowed these poor people down, they just rolled all over them, and they killed one of them [...] that's what they want you to believe happened [...].”
“There was nothing innocent about the opposition,” he said. “The result achieved here is exactly that which was hoped for and sought.”
Limbaugh said “organizers” want people to believe the clash was “rooted in hatred and bigotry,” because that's “how they attract a crowd.” But, he added, “the objectives are far, far, far more reaching than just erasing the vestiges of slavery.”
The American people are being fed a script, he said, “and the American president fell right into it.”

I think it's more likely they changed it because people like Chris freaked out about the ironic headline. If you can show me a spokesman for Antifa's communication with CNN to get the headline changed, go ahead. Otherwise, it's another conspiracy theory.
