Here's a good bit that includes a wtf act.
So I ended up watching the Gong Show last night. It stayed pretty close to form as the original.
I don't know who the host was but he was appropriately bizarre.
They had 3 "celebrity" hosts. I didn't know 2 of them but one was the Indian chick from that FBI show. She is unbelievably attractive.
Anyhoo, the ty thing is that they cram on about 12 acts and ask the judges to give them a score between 1-10. And I think that's hard to do when they don't know what acts are going to follow.
So if they all give someone a 10/10, then that person has already won the show.
They missed the boat last night and gave it to some kids doing political impersonations.
I'll probably keep watching just like I would a potential car wreck.

It's unbelievable given what I know now. I'm fairly shocked.
I thought J.P. Morgan on the old one was just the hottest thing going.
I was a wee lad and that might have even be reruns but...yes she was. Although even then, the name was confusing.
It was a great act, because she was nothing like that in real life. She'd been a singer when the Beatles hit and it wiped her out. [Gong] was her way back.
I just looked her up. She's got a fascinating story. Had her own show apparently. Not sure why she's not more well known. Especially after starting the financial company.
