Would be the best guard on the roster right now
Davis seems like a cool guy.
Would be the best guard on the roster right now
shooting less than 30% from 3 on FIBA distance, I doubt it.
Yuck...And this is going to be our backup 4 next year.
I'm talking about Hanga, tbh.
My bad. I see that now. Still sucks though that our backup 4 can't grab a board or do much of anything, tbh.
Hanga wishes he could have an NBA skillset, tbh.
Hanga looks slow... even in that "flukish" game...

All four players have already qualified for the knockout stages with their respective teams.
Lauvergne back to sucking apparently. Ughhhh
Thanks for sharing Jyra.
He passed Tony Parker (second) and Dirk Nowitzki (third).
Not signing Hanga is looking straight ridiculous at this point. On top of this offensive explosion, dude is a reigning ELDPOY. Even signing Manu, you have to bring him over. Could have let two of White, Paul and Blossomgame go to other teams in favor of some decent bigs (ESPECIALLY considering that they knew at the time they were going to re-sign Mills).
Assuming the Spurs are going to be playing LMA at the five and Pau off the bench, it doesn't make sense to have Joffrey over Tiago.
It makes sense from a health point of view. Tiago isn't reliable. Can't stay healthy. At least Joff will give the other functional bigs some rest minutes. Injured Tiago can't even do that.
"Offensive explosion". Shooting 42% from the field and 25% from 3 against subpar compe ion.
Still about a point per possession depending on how many of those FTs were and-1s or fouls on threes. Would be one of the best marks on last year's team.
All in all, Hanga is better than Simmons. That already was an upgrade.
On offense, he's actually a poor man's Simmons.
Have you even seen the guy play?
His average stats are a bit misleading:

Romania and Czech Republic are much weaker compared to other teams. To be fair, it has to be mentioned that Hanga suffered a hip injury in the first game. It's hard to jugde him in these cir stances.
Not as much as I'd like. I watched him when he and Bertans were together (ironically enough, I watched for Bourousis). It's only been highlights since then. IDGAF about the tourney this year, but considering that the team did not offer the LLE, it's hard for his stats to be misleading enough to not warrant a contract.
Is it possible that he rejected the Spurs? Why come over from a smaller pond where you're a bigger name if you're going to be stuck on the bench behind two old men, a guy who prefers the club over being a better ball player, Fathead, 3 rookies, and 2 sop res?
Hanga isn't worth it, tbh. The only reason he's putting some raw stats is because he's a go to guy for Hungary, but in teams with real talent he's nothing more than a role player. In the NBA he would be a 3 and D guy that can't shoot for . He's basically a less athletic version of Simmons.

On a good team, he was the DPOY. Simmons got a ton of hype for being a good defender but usually wasn't. Regardless, the LLE was for less than half of Simmons' APY.
