11.5/3.3/2.4
Does he take his game to the next level?
Will he thrive with more time on the court, or struggle in a system/organization that has been synonymous with dysfunction for nearly a decade?
Did the Spurs really lose a gem, or just a guy who put up decent stats in some playoff games where the outcome was basically predetermined and he had the neon green light?
Personally, I think he will average like 9 and 3 in about 24 MPG, and be out of the league within 5 years.
11.5/3.3/2.4
Well, he's older so to assume he will be out of the league in 5 years is not such a bold prediction. I do wish him the best. I think he gained confidence and will play hard, something that the Magic team needs (a few times I watched them last season a few guys looked like they were coasting). I think JSimms will stay hungry despite getting the life changing contract that may cause some to coast and just collect a paycheck. Difficult to predict. He wasn't a consistent shooter and its tough to be a scorer just trying to get to the basket each time. if he improves his shooting he could break out within the context of that team as they need scoring and shooting. I think KDKSpurs has a nice ballpark. If he doesn't have a good shooting season it could be lower though.
I think he'll average 10-12 PPG and be a solid contributor but if they expect more than that than they're playing themselves anyways.
The Magic have a ton of guards, don't know he'l get that many more minutes than he did in SA.
so assuming he plays aroudn 15 mpg, he'll average about what he did in SA.
More than Manure, D-League Green, and Fathead I & II.... that's for sure.
Thinking he's going to get a triple-double like Russ.
I agree with the 10/3/2 type predictions.
Given his age, and how difficult his road to the NBA was, I don't blame him at all for taking the lucrative contract in Orlando. Get paid while you can. Chasing rings is for players who have deep pockets or long careers ahead of them.
I don't know but I'm not drafting him in fantasy.
He will be a 2nd or 3rd option in that team against less compe ive east, so I think he will be 15/6 and occasional highlight dunks/blocks. I wish him well.
8pts/3Rb/1St/<1Ast.
He will be like the majority of the rest of the scrubs SA turned into workable bench players after they left, except for Capt. Jack and GH3. Even Diaw is a s of his former self. Boban is a nobody, Baynes we'll see on the Celts but on the Pistons he wasn't that great. Roger Mason Jr was a nobody on the Wiz I think a few years back after leaving SA for $, etc
10 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists playing 25 mpg.
12.3
A seven year career is great for a guy that never got drafted and had to scrape to get on a d league team.
I think he'll be better. Hopefully his shot will have improved from last year.
His raw numbers depend on the amount of minutes and role he gets. His actual contribution to winning basketball games will probably be below average like it has always been since he got to the NBA.
