That would be a downgrade for Cle tbh
That's a far better deal than getting crap like Bledsoe or Aldridge. I don't see how Cleveland turns that down, especially if they can get Boston to include one of their lotto SFs.
Man this is going to get really bad for Boston if they don't pull the trigger on the deal now considering Thomas is playing on a below market contract and expecting a big payday next year. Going to Cleveland would be horrible for Thomas if LeBron leaves, since no way the Cavs would give him a max deal if they're in a full rebuild.
If Hayward wants to play SF, crowder is probably gone.
Cleveland getting both Crowder and Isiah though makes cleveland a better team.
Crowder is huge...Great player to have.
Plus Celtic fan has to be furious hearing that. The way Simmons talks, Thomas is by far the most popular Celtic in Boston since Bird.
Cleveland's gotta build for the future with James out the door. I'd want Tatum.
Why would they be furious? They have their next great White hope..
Woj is saying that the Cavs will also get Crowder, Zizic and pick(s) in addition to Isaiah. Tbh, if this happens, the Cavs just fleeced the out of the Celtics.
Thats not going to happen with ainge..At most they get Brown
Yup Crowder is the most likely player out...Haywaard wants play the SF so
Yeah...Ainge isn't RC tbh
Damn IT was really involved in the Hayward recruitment and now they're just ousting him like that. Pretty cold hearted by Ainge. Wish RC would do the same to Enrique tbh.
LeBron must be seething. This is the best they could get? An overrated midget, a decent role player, and a second tier prospect? Horrible.
Unlikely. Ainge wouldn't give up assets for Paul George or Butler.
It has to be IT with a draft pick or Brown + filler.
George wasn't going to sign an extension and Irving is not only a better player than Butler, but kills two birds with one stone since it keeps them from having to overpay Thomas next summer.
Ainge has an inclination to just, you know, rape people. A true savage.
He's got no one to blame but himself for starting this when he was trying to get Irving moved.
Sorry, I love Kyrie but he's not better than Butler.
Did the Celtics secretly re-hire Doc Rivers and make him their GM? Because this is a Doc move right here.
Monster deal for the Cavs
decent haul, though the '18 pick is honestly a drop in the bucket for ainge and Brooklyn actually looks decent this year.
irving and Thomas is lateral but I'd honestly rent kyrie than overpay IT who was demanding max.
EC finally got interesting, with the drama between bron and irving. cavs got better because of crowder's inclusion.
