i dont like awarding points to boxers for simply being "the hunter". Thats not how boxing works. Canelo was never going to be the hunter in this fight. He is the better boxer..It would be smart for him to allow Golovkin to attack and pick his spots.

He landed the better punches and that was probably the goal.

50-50 Majority draw or decision, Golovkin just didn't have enough impact to say it was a robbery. Canelo got a re ed card, though.

GGG never wasted his energy, walking and throwing punches with control, the one who got gassed was Canelo with all the jogging, around round 9 he was tired.
Is not about exchanging but at the same time is not about one fighter running the whole fight like a chicken , if GGG went to his corner there wouldnt be a fight because Canelo was a runner.

Draw is a fair result IMO. GGG landed more jabs, but a lot of them were hitting glove. Canelo landed the cleaner power punches.
