Surprise team of the year: Los Angeles Chargers (9-7) Clipper Nation
Steelers, ans will run away with their divisions
Giants will finish 8-8
GB 10-6, Min 10-6
Min is terrible... ... throw out the fluky first 5 games of last year and they won what... 2 others? They have no offense... no OL and a quality rookie RB who's going to be incredibly frustrated with the lack of holes and probably ask for a trade within 2 years. A checkdown charlie for a QB who always makes the wrong decision when it counts most, and he can't run either.
Defense is still upper half, but a defense can only take a team so far... Denver's is better, but they'll struggle to get to 8-8 without a QB and any resemblance of an offense. That Min pass rush is old, CB corps has only one guy in his prime (Rhodes) and everyone else is either way too old and slow to be playing football OR too inexperienced from being buried on the depth chart behind the guys they let go in the offseason. SS Sendejo is a huge liability in coverage, the LBs are okay... they could split with the Packers. Maybe.
Green Gay is going to run away with that division. Detroit might sniff second place, they'll win a few, Stafford always pulls something out of his ass, but they can't beat the Pukers. 7-9.
ans just MIGHT run away with their division if the passing game can be more consistent. I think they're wildly overrated by some though, probably the best in the division given Andrew Luck's MIA status and uncertainty for his short and long term health. Houston will be dreadful, though Watt will be back to putting up big numbers. Jacksonville is another team with a promising defense but a putrid offense despite a quality young RB. 5-11 there.
what QB did they trade for? And what did they give up to get him. Sorry I missed it?
Who did Houston have at qb last season?
Osweiler believe it or not, for all his dumb mistakes, had a few very nice games. Like the Indy comeback to win in OT at home on a Sunday night, that was virtuoso.
Savage is just another Schaub (check down Charlie who will also throw picks when he tries to take risks). Houston will be worse than Jacksonville, but Jacksonville will still be bad... that's my prediction. Bortles and that tragedy of an offensive line puts too much weight on the defense's shoulders.
Your defense might be talented, but it's also too young to make up for a bad offense like that ... Denver had a VERY experienced and legendary defense in 2015, let's not forget even that mediocre offense still had Manning who sometimes still looked like his old self (think Tim Duncan's last couple years), Demaryius Thomas & Emmanuel Sanders. But even with all that considered, that year like 2002 Bucs was a fluke and that type of thing won't happen again for a very long time.
Going to cool predicting things "here" this season. If ya get it right......nothing, but if ya get it wrong.....you idiot blah blah. So why mess with it..."here".
Perfect example of the level of immaturity we see "here" is you. Grow up ya little freak, ok?

5-11 for NYG is an overreaction. They'll win 7 games. But their regression was too predictable
That line is garbage. They got dookied at home fully healthy. Looks like a 2013 or 2014 type season is in the cards for them.
