actually no. It seems worse because the game is getting increased video exposure and also var, so we get to discuss and analyze more data to see their mistakes ... look at some 80s/early 90s games tbh, they were trash back then. If anything the refs ar getting more conservative with their style, as they prefer safe calls over good-for-the-game calls. What we miss today is a ref of collina's level, who knew how to call it without interfering with the flow of the game.
