They were pretty lenient on him. The truth is he doesn't need to change his game, he just needs to be benched or retire. If he's stuck as a pocket passer, he'll be one of the worst QB in the league.

Won the JUCO National le while at Blinn. Won the NCAA le at Auburn, Heisman winner. An NFL MVP and has played in a SB.

Cowherd does this thing on Tusesdays where he ranks the top 10 NFL teams. Now I like the guy and he usually echos what I'm thinking but.....
He has the Rams in this weeks top10 and no Vikings or Seahawks. Who have the Rams beat? And he does play week to week with little concern over "spot", which is HUGE. The Seahawks on the road vs Packers and ans while the Rams at home vs Colts, beat the Niners...huh? The Vikes are far better than the Rams.
Who exactly have the Seahawks beaten? They're an average team.
It's more about "spots". The Seahawks with two road games vs good teams. And we don't totally ignore recent history.
Cowherd 15-5 in his $$$ plays so far this season. That is great.

It takes awhile to get things going at all levels of football. Why so many of you here jump on things so damn soon, this amazes me.
I played with a tackle who totally sucked for a few weeks then something just clicked and he became a monster, it took awhile however.
