If you wanted real run on this thread the shooter should have been taken out by an ordinary gun enthusiast (who was, at the time, eating donuts peacefully at a newly opened establishment) with a modified assault weapon. Or maybe an RPG obtained at a gun show illegally.
Dammit, just the SWAT cops without baked or fried dough in hand, move on.
