No review system for obvious penalties like this that decide the NFC Champion and taint this year's Super Bowl:

Handcuffing themselves on plays like these is indeed pretty re ed, tbh. Just like when the NBA refs have to check whose ball it is and they see that they missed a blatant foul but can't do anything about it.

  2. #102
OT whatever system is used, both teams have to see the ball on offense at least once.

compared to povertyball with like 3 hours of meaningful action every 4 years?
Hey, when I watch a Soccer match my pub tab is 3 beers

To digest an entire NFL game I need a couch and 12 beers/liquor

But you probably consider watching close ups of replays as "action"

There were how many Touchdowns scored in the NFC le Game? - 4

    In a 4+ hour telecast

So much scoring. So much action.

A first down is in effect "a goal". It's meaningful action.

I'll take the 15 minutes of actual ball play in football over the grind of a 1-nil soccer match all day every day

A competed pass in Soccer is in effect a QB pass completion

Majority of soccer games are 2-2 which is exactly what the NFC le Game was.

Your scores (6 for a goal lol) are bloated just like your ty beer

I'll watch soccer if they get rid of the goalie and make it illegal for defensive players to be in the goalie box at all.

Not really taking sides here, but the difference is that in football a first down is a bigger deal than a completed pass in Soccer because it's harder to get those yards back if you're the other team. In Soccer, a 20 yard pass doesn't mean much because it can be canceled out a few seconds later when the other team steals it. So after awhile, Pablo and Juan just slapping the ball across the field feels boring because 90% of the time you'll just give it back to the other team without scoring

In football though, you have to go through the whole force the other team to punt, then march back down yourself cycle before you get to the same spot on the field going the other way.

    Cost.
Shove your $12 beers and $25+ parking fees up your asses. How much is parking when you go to NFL game?

I got comped admittance from 2007 til the Chargers left. No way I'd pay those scam artist Spanos.

Chargers usually had some decent snatch on the cheer teams tho, will give them that.

Haven't caught much NFL this season nor last, but what was turning me off was how comparatively one-dimensionally pass happy the league was becoming, with rule changes that stranglehold the defense, all in the name of keeping the Fantasy Football tap running. And commercials. I've read they've addressed those this season, though. I'm slowly coming back, however. The NBA is unwatchable.

    Just googled score

World Cup final was "7-7" at this point.

You've already digested an hour of commercials. How many trips to the toilet? In classic American style it is a given you didn't flush
