bad omen for the NBA, its opening night and this happens
Was bad, but nowhere near as bad as Ware's. Ware's literally cleared the first 2 rows of players and fans around him

Joe theisman was a bad one
Why the are the C's throwing an alley oop in traffic that early in a charged game?
Also, Lebron with a reckless challenge at first glance, tbh.
My guess would be he'll get pins and be back in April. This sucks though. I thought he'd be a dark horse MVP candidate. And now we may never see if he'll fulfill his potential. And like Paul George, he'll probably be a fraction of his old self upon coming back.
I’m hearing no ligament damage. He may be back before Isaiah Thomas.
No they don’t. It went to Cleveland for Kyrie.
I'm not a medical expert; but the fact that his foot was twisted about eighty degrees out of place would hint at severity to me.
Youngn's never saw Joe Theisman's injury apparently. Anderson Silva maybe? , Odell Beckham just suffered something similar.
What happened with Anderson Silva? I only started watching MMA this year. I have heard of Joe Theisman's, how bad was that?
Also made a number of players vomit on the court and then into trash bins
You're right, I'm getting my picks confused. They picked up the extra lottery pick from Philly in the Fultz pick trade. My bad.
Anderson Silva's shin snapped in half when his kick was blocked by his opponent's knee. Theisman's shin snapped in half when he was sacked by Lawrence Taylor in 1986. It happened on Monday Night Football and was a compound fracture where the bone breaks the skin. You could see blood on his sock.

Same man, absolutely brutal to see live.
Got to give Hayword props I would be screaming like a little girl all the way to the Hospital. Lol
They're saying dislocated ankle plus tibial fracture. If he got lucky and didn't tear anything he could be back Jan-Feb.
When you jump for a lob, land on the side of your ankle, and your foot is facing the wrong direction...you're gonna have a bad time.
But thanks to modern science-based medicine, he'll probably be fine in a few months.
In other opening night news, Chris Paul looks wasted and possibly old in Rockets offense.
Keep your prayers homies. Raymond out for the game w/ a strained knee.

The report I saw said 4 to 5 months putting a return as early as late January. Would be crazy if he only misses half the season after that craziness. He broke his tibia and dislocated his foot at the ankle but didn’t tear any ligaments or suffer structural damage.
Lol, Houston with a win over GS after Green went out. Without Green the Dubs would be nowhere near as good. As for Houston, CP3 being CP3. King of the nagging injuries. Perennial loser.
If Green actually misses time they just slide in Jordan Bell in the SL on D and let Durant/Curry be playmakers a bit more often.
Celtics wont play him this year. Based on their moves, they are gunning for next year when LBJ leaves Cleveland.
Agree with all this. Curry and Durant may via for league MVP, but Green is definitely their team MVP.
And CP3 is a loser. Glad we didn't get him. His injuries are only going to be more common. Not worth the cash.
