Damn.
In my defense, LaVar was the major reason why I didn't want Lonzo and preferred Fultz. Now after seeing Lonzo for 51 games, I'm all in son.
Lonzo had a pretty good game, even if it was a loss. That being said, a few games are coming now. He is typically 1 or 2 good games, then a slew of stamped dog games.
To be expected. He's a rookie.
Like I said, gonna be a good 2-way player. The Glove showing our rook some love, even when you farmers won't.
aka terrible D
Can Longo follow up with a good game tonight against the Mavs? We shall see.
Literal statpadding
this shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!
Damn, dis is gonna be injury prone. He is already OUT again! Cant shoot or stay healthy.
Fox is coming up on their schedule, so of course Lonzo is "injured" again.
There is a HUGE difference. All of those guys have a decent shot, Lonzos shot is busted. Their FG% went up because of that. I doubt Lonzos FG% will improve.
at using a stat that ignores Lonzo's atrocious free throw shooting.
Rookie TS%:
Wall: .494
Westbrook: .489
Rondo: .472
Kidd: .471
Kemba: .464
Lonzo: .444

Lonzo's TS% this year is the 16th-worst of any rookie who's played at least 30 minutes per game in NBA history:

Meanwhile, Lonzo Bust can't even make the playoffs.
